Why Abu Dhabi is different

Few cities concentrate so much long-term capital and national ambition in one place. Abu Dhabi is home to some of the world's largest sovereign investors, a national energy champion and a fast-growing advanced-industry base. Its Industrial Strategy 2031 alone plans 13,600 specialised jobs. Leaders here answer to boards and government stakeholders at once, and they are expected to think in decades while delivering this year.

Dr Kate's connection to the capital

Dr Kate has lived in Abu Dhabi and is Professor of Practice at Mohamed bin Zayed University of Artificial Intelligence (MBZUAI). As a strategic advisor to the UAE Prime Minister's Office, she understands how government and sovereign institutions think about senior appointments.

Her coaching rests on evidence. Her doctoral research with 6,000 executives across Asia, the Middle East and Europe examined how leaders keep their judgement as AI takes on more of the work. That research shapes the assessments she uses with every client.

The programme

Engagements run for six or twelve months, with a 90-minute session each month. Clients meet Dr Kate in Abu Dhabi, at One Za'abeel in Dubai or by video conference. She opens her network where it serves the objective.
